Team Isabel:

Isabel’s mission is to deploy the most cost effective & efficient greenhouses around the globe. We are creating a network of automated hydroponic systems that grow produce with 95% less water, 2x faster, no use of pesticides, all with 1/3 the carbon footprint. By having smart greenhouses distributed amongst urban populations, we save water, humankind, and the planet. Hyperlocal and beyond organic.

''We live in the era of climate change, soil erosion, droughts, population increase, and diminishing resources. The time is now and the race is on."

Eric Hager founded Farm-X in order to deploy vertical farms to combat chronic unemployment in low-income urban areas throughout the globe. He is committed to the idea that a transition to an industrial urban food system would not only create jobs, reduce crime and diet-related disease in post-industrial neighborhoods, but is also a necessary step towards realizing a socially just and environmentally sustainable future.
